Mmm, Apple Pie

We’ve secretly replaced Doug’s Apple Pie<tm> filling with Apple Cinnamon Hammer Gel<tm> … let’s see if he can tell the difference. Jeff: “Did you like them?” Doug: (sheepishly) “I did”.
Doug rolled into the parking lot here in the Pratt, KS McDonalds — owned and operated by Jolan and Steve Strecker, who open up their business serving free food to RAAM racers and crew every year! — about 30 minutes ago. He’s filled up on Coke<tm>, an Egg McMuffin<tm> and our special dessert. He’s resting now in the van … rest quick, Doug, because Lowen just pulled in now!

Way to go Doug… Halfway home!!! I can’t stop checking in to see how you’re doing; I view all the stats constantly and it looks like you’re at an incredible pace. Maybe I can video you going past the Eisenhower farm in Gettysburg next week and maybe I can follow you in to Annapolis. Keep safe and keep healthy… Steve Fisher, AFS

Well at this point you can only be thinking one thing…Oh, Sugar Honey Ice Tea!
Be safe and keep your eye on the prize as it’s time you lived out your dream…. But also keep a eye out for the dreaded Foosa..
In the end you are gonna face extreme peril. The private probably won’t survive!!! But you will because you are a winner !!!!
Good luck and god speed !!!! Can’t wait to see you when you get back …Heck Rocco on me

Me thinks the web master/mistress is also a little loopy! If Doug ends up in Mississippi, he’ll be a little off track. MO is for Missouri. Which time station does Doug have to reach and by what time in order to continue riding onto Annapolis? TEAM LEVY RACING CREW keep up good job!! lynne
